CHRISTIANITY DERAILED/ Need for Government? #97-9
Dear Network
Free Societies need some kind of government
I am addressing these matters for those who will be able to understand the Kingdom, which is the right to be ruled by God instead of by men who call themselves benefactors but exercise authority one over the other.
The kingdom is about empowering individuals to exercise rights God already has given them.
You cannot maintain your rights unless you maintain your responsibilities.
Some people are still having difficulty seeing the kingdom because they still get angry when someone cheats them or betrays them. They do not really forgive as Christ forgave so that have to take time to let the anger settle.
That is not the same as forgiving.
They also do not understand giving. To give unwisely will weaken people and is a curse, the curse of Sodom. Yet giving and forgiving is the life blood of the kingdom of God.
Luke 22:25 "And he [Jesus] said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve. For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth. Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations. And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;"
You never hear this quote in Church. Yet this is a very specific directive of Christ to the men to whom he appoints the kingdom.
It includes a precept of not coveting your neighbor's goods or making covenants with men who would rule over you and your neighbor creating a society with one purse.
They often say that it is about church government but we preach it is about the only form of true Christian or godly government.
Many Churches have a form of godliness but they deny the power of the Gospel of the Kingdom and send people to those men that exercise authority on over the other to get their benefits rather than practice pure religion as the early Church did.
These appointed Apostles were not only Ambassadors [Apostolic] but they were princes of a kingdom appointed and entrusted to them. Jesus was a king and just as David had been the anointed King He was the Messiah, the Christ or the Anointed, all meaning he was the king of God's government.
Jesus was the king and highest son of David, born king, proclaimed king by the people and even by Rome. He is seen firing the porters of the temple, overseeing, limiting and directing activity in the temple and the royal treasury of that temple and government. These were jobs reserved only for and by the authority of the king since the days of David and Samuel.
But Jesus would not rule over the people. He came to set them free and seal that freedom in his own blood. The difference in His Kingdom and the governments of the world is that the leaders are titular. They do not exercise authority. They do have a right to decide who they will recognize as ministers of Christ.
What we are doing is listening to the people. Each individual chooses who they recognize as a good servant of men, who they believe has the character of Christ and who has volunteered to serve. They are established as ministers by the recognition of two or more witnesses. In the case of a Minister of Record, Personal Contact Minister on the network [PCM] or an Assistant Contact Minister [APC] these are just someone who has agreed to help connect people to a larger network by working with other men and women who have been chosen to the same position and are keeping track of local people while remaining intouch with one another.
The ministers of Christ's Church are appointed by Him but it is the responsibility of everyman and woman to look into their own hearts and recognize them as ministers coming together in love and concern and in a practical way that may provide the services of a selfgovernmning body of believer in the Gospel of the Kingdom. If Christ is in you then you will choose wisely. Unlike the world you can change your mind anytime you wish in the kingdom. Everyday is election day.
Many in the world have not chosen their leaders wisely but have been seduced into participating in a covetous scheme where they have been entangled again in the bondage of the world through agreements and have now sealed themselves as sureties in a mountain of debt.
Still Christ, Moses and Abraham brought a solution that is sealed in the blood of Christ for those who will seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness. That means once you believe you must turn around and begin to act... You must move toward the kingdom with earnest hope.
If you put a hundred range Sheep together in a field they will divide up into small groups and graze shoulder to shoulder with each one slightly ahead of those next to it.
They will continue to graze this way with the other small groups near by until danger comes into the field when they will all come together as one body.
As we see above in Luke 22:26 there is rank in the kingdom but it is based on service and recognition not upon power and authority.
Matthew 20:25 "But Jesus called them [unto him], and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many."
On this Living Network you are elected by two or more people to help in the service of one to another, even as nothing more than a contact point, then you may also be recognized by others who are in this network who are also serving as contact point to the people. This is based on your accept of that election by those who call upon your service and the evidence in your actions that bears witness to the truth of that acceptance.
If we recognize that you are serving then we will provide a forum to assist and serve you. We will connect you with others who may assist you in your service to others. We will send others to you to help build your congregation, connect you with others making the same journey.
That groups is our fishing boat and each man is a member of the crew. When we work together, pulling the gether for the same cause we are all fishing with fishermen. If someone consistently does not hold up their end of the net then we wont take them fishing. We have a policy on board of fish or cut bait...
We remove people who do not work with us but only from the working group. We are not removing people from the whole network. Those who work have a right to choose. Who and how we serve others remains an individual choice amongst the people and the ministers. It is everyone's right to serve with those whom they choose.
This is where we differ from the "world" where people are compelled to serve because their so called benefactors exercise authority. The Church is an alternative that should serve by faith and charity. The ministers of the kingdom need to be supported and helped and being shorthanded has always been a problem but the people still have a right to serve..
The guidelines for Ministers of Record or those for a PCM are an explanation of what we are looking for so that there is no confusion. No one is compelled to follow them but no one is compelled to serve with or work for those who do not work together according to these basic precepts.
Jesus was appointing a government that provided a daily ministration, aid in the case of disaster or assistance in the case of infirmity. The ministers were the social welfare of the people that was not asnare but a source of liberty.
Psalms 69:22 "Let their table become a snare before them: and [that which should have been] for [their] welfare, [let it become] a trap."
Romans 11:9 "And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them: "
Pure religion is doing that which is merceyfull without a covetous aid of the men who call themselves benefactors but exercise authority. Pure religion is the alternative to the offers provided by the princes and rulers of the governments of the world.
Those churches or their ministers or priests who think they are servants of Christ but who are not diligently working to set the table of the Lord or to be able to provide those services on a kingdom bases may be fooling themselves about their faith. They cannot feed his sheep with platitudes and philosophies... alone. They are not fooling God. They may fool us but with God's help hopefully not forever.
On this network we forbid no one to serve God. We force no one to serve or take away their right to choose. Yet, we are not required to testify or assist someone just because they say they are servant of Christ. Jesus made it clear that his brothers are those who do the will of the Father and it is up to everyone to seek out those who are the doers of that will. If we do not see the fruits nor precepts of that brotherhood manifested in them and their daily walk then we should turn away...
The guidlines are our written word of what we think the Fathers will might look like and it is our testimny as to what we are doing. Those want to wak or row with us are welcomed with open arms.... paddle draggers need not apply.
Those who cannot see the simplicity of a government based on righteous voluntary service, honest testimony, diligent responsibility, consistent charity, continuous hope and faith in Christ are often blinded by their own lack of forgiveness. They are not really forgiving those who trespass against them but simply shelve that resentment in time, covering it with a religious frosting that is more concerned about how they feel than what Christ cam to do.. When push comes to shove that resentment turns to rage and comes out again like a kettle boiling over.
There are many who belive in a christ. Giving and forgiving is essential in a free society and automatic in a community of people who truly believe in Christ. Giving is another aspect that a free society must have an abundance of to maintain liberty. Tending to law, judgment, mercy and faith are the weightier matters according to Christ.
When volunteers are needed in the kingdom of God thirty thousand will show up and the problem is turning back all that are not needed. But Christ warned that the true laborers were few...
Those who do not volunteer to do what ever their part is in the kingdom are answerable to God and should examine their conscience and their relationship with Him as to what they should do. I thank all those who have stepped forward and thank God for your diligence ...
Jesus gave us all instructions on this need for diligent workers...
"Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly [is] great, but the labourers [are] few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest." Luke 10:2
